Terms of Service
These draft terms describe the service in plain language and should be reviewed before public launch.
The service
The Prayer Group is a weekly Christian prayer circle by email. Members receive a weekly prayer, scripture, and a PDF that includes the participating names for that week according to each member's selected visibility preference.
Free participation
The prayer circle is free to join. Optional recurring donations help cover costs and grow the group, but donating is not required to participate and does not change whether someone is included in the prayer circle.
Recurring donations
Donations are recurring monthly payments processed by Stripe. You can update payment details or cancel a recurring donation through the Stripe customer portal from your account page. Donation amounts, currency, billing timing, and payment method rules are handled by Stripe.
Cancellations and unsubscribing
You can unsubscribe from weekly prayer emails from your account page. You can cancel a recurring donation through Stripe. Unsubscribing from weekly emails and canceling a recurring donation are separate actions.
Name inclusion consent
By joining, you agree that your chosen display name format may be included in the weekly PDF sent to members. You can choose full name, first name, initials, or anonymous participant, and you can update that choice from your account page.
Service limits
We may change the format, schedule, wording, or delivery method of the weekly prayer service. We may pause, suspend, or end access where needed to protect the service, prevent abuse, or comply with legal or operational requirements.
Review before launch
These terms are a practical launch draft and should be reviewed for the final business entity, governing law, refund language, contact details, and any required consumer rights wording before public launch.
